@Nebya11 I think the problem lies elsewhere. Your sketch no 540 is a perfect example, the characters looks kind of stiff and flat. Your latest sketch looks more refined because of the definition Try to put muscles , because they are a huge part of the final shape (imo). Give it a try.

@denis_jn_art I was planning on adding muscle on top after being mostly satisfied with how the primitive forms were oriented.

@Nebya11 If i may add depth to the boxes, drawing muscles in my opinion is faster than boxes only

@denis_jn_art Thank you and I agree. Just trying to get a feel for the box figure first. I feel like it wasn’t until recently I became better at studying art although I still have a long way to go before I’ve reached the artists that inspire me.

@Nebya11 Hey ive been taking a good look at your tab, your consistency is awesome, however i think you should add more volume to your sketches (especially go beyond the boxes and cylinders to put some muscles for example). Good luck on your art journey
