@Vivek_Jain5 @AnirudhKejriwal Need "civic sense like rest of the country" 😂? What are you talking about? Most of north India has zero civic sense. South Indians are the only saving grace - well mannered, disciplined, clean.

Gujaratis are very sweet people, they just need a bit of civic sense like rest of the country. I was boarding a flight from London to Istanbul last year. With me 3-4 Gujarati young boys & girls also boarded. They were chit chatting loudly, frequently changing seats. All the fellow passengers were clearly uncomfortable with their behaviour.

“Gujaratis must accept one thing - as long as the kind of activity seen in this video remains within Gujarat and within our personal spaces, it is much better. Garba, which began as a form of devotion to Ambe Maa, can often appear inappropriate when performed anywhere, anytime, and without any particular occasion. Times have changed, and people today value peace, privacy, and personal space much more. Doing such activities on the airport tarmac right after getting off a flight may naturally seem strange to non-Gujaratis or foreigners. Many Gujaratis may feel offended after reading this post, but one should never do something that brings happiness to oneself while causing discomfort to others. Some Gujaratis may find it "cool" to sit on the floor at Bangkok airport and eat khaman, or to play loud Garba music on the tarmac immediately after getting off a flight. However, we must learn to see things not only from our own perspective but also from the perspective of others. We need to realize that this "lack of civic sense" is significantly affecting the global image of Gujarat and Gujaratis.” Saw this post by a Gujarati local handle. Hope it reaches all people.

Vietnamese are still putting up with these antics. But the nerves are frayed. Their patience is wearing thin. The whispers within the industry circles will only get louder.

@NeedOfTheDay_OM @VedicWisdom1 As far as consumption of non veg and alcohol is concerned: It's allowed except for Brahmins. Non veg and alcohol must be consumed in the proper way and not over indulge in the same. Of course consuming cow meat etc are prohibited strictly

Al Beruni mentions that Hindus were forbidden to eat Egg or tame poultry, even the meat eaters would not eat it and selling of meat was not allowed for anyone (even Shudras). Hence even when meat eating was started in society by that time, it was not a commercial thing. Meat eaters would eat what they hunted. (As eating tame animals like chicken, horses, camels was not allowed)
