That’s not what happened.

– Most abortions are allowed up to 24 weeks
– After that, only in strict medical circumstances
That framework still exists.
So what changed?
A proposed legal shift focuses on decriminalisation — meaning women would not face criminal prosecution, even in cases outside the traditional framework.

Doctors, regulations, and clinical limits do not suddenly disappear.

It’s evil. I can’t believe it’s going to be legal in the UK to kill a full-term baby. I can’t believe the medical profession would cooperate. It’s come to this: the UK allows the murder of viable infants, but lets the elderly die in agony.

The Archbishop of Canterbury has said that legalising DIY abortions up to the point of birth is “legally, morally, and practically complex”. It isn’t ‘complex’. It’s WRONG. Killing a 39 week old baby is morally indefensible. No Christian should find that hard to say.

I believe today's vote for or against allowing full term abortion is a test.
If our society allows the murder of fully formed, viable, innocent babies - they can do absolutely anything to us.
