Today I start a new chapter in my ACF journey as Assistant Commandant (Engagement).
Truly grateful for the opportunity and proud to continue serving an organisation that means so much to me.
Excited for what’s ahead. @ArmyCadetsUK@DurhamAcf
It was great to help out Torrington Detachment Devon ACF this weekend who had a group of cadets undertaking fly fishing as a Duke of Edinburgh’s Award skill. Well done all for delivering the wider cadet experience.
It would appear that once again a change of name is in order. I am very pleased to say that as of 30th June I assumed Command of Lothian and Borders Battalion Army Cadet Force.
I did ACCB over the weekend and found it incredibly rewarding. It was a great opportunity to reflect, grow, and challenge myself. I learnt a lot about who I am and what I’m capable of. If you’re considering it— go for it. You won’t regret the experience.
Morning all 🌈☕
🌂☃️There's a chill in the air and the rain seems to have been set to standard so here come rainy day and winter paintings! 👩🏾🎨🎨
Wishing you a warm and cozy day filled with kindness and compassion 🥰
End of the journey for our year 11 footballers today. New chapters ahead for these young people
It’s great to know you have made an impression and supported them as players and young people
Good luck 🍀
Today I found out that I have been awarded the MBE in the Military Gazetted List, such a proud moment in my life, hugely honoured. My thanks to the person that nominated me.
A lovely weekend up the road at our CTC in Drumshoreland, glorious Scottish weather, 9 potential CFAVs completed Familiarisation and a pleasure to support 7 potential Expedition Supervisors who completed a long picturesque walk in the Tyne Valley
A privilege to appoint Cadet CSM Jack Gardiner to Battalion Cadet RSM.
An outstanding young man and positive role model for all of our cadets to follow.

Fantastic night at the Battalions postponed Burns night supper. An opportunity to say goodbye to my predecessor Col Derek Balfour and Minden Company stalwart Captain Bill Pontor.
Also a pleasure to present SSI Andy Gear with his Kings Coronation Medal.
@Lt_AJBrown Have a great time number 5!, I’m sure you will, all the cadets will be well looked after under your care. Say hello to Miss Brown from Lothian and Borders for me!
First full day in New Delhi, settling in to our surroundings and meeting the other Delegations. Vietnam were first to greet our group at lunch.
Looking forward to tomorrows visits to
India Gate and the National War Memorial 🇮🇳
Today is the end of my 5 year tenure as Commandant of Middx & NW London ACF. Thank you to all who have been on the journey with me, inspiring young people to achieve. I shall miss it terribly and I take with me very happy memories. I wish the Sector much continued success.
Pleased to announce that I’ve been selected for the appointment of Army Cadets National Training Officer. Who would’ve thought that a kid who joined as a cadet back in 1992, becoming an adult volunteer in 1997, could be appointed in the @ArmyCadetsUK Leadership team.
I’d like to wish fond farewell to CSM Carney. After five dedicated years, his tenure as our CSM has come to an end as he moves on to new opportunities with Durham ACF. I wish him the best of luck in his new role & thank him for his unwavering commitment to A Coy
