Should political donors get contracts from the Governments they paid to elect? Most people I speak to say NO. Public contracts should go to the best bidder - not those with the cosiest connections. I'm presenting my petition to Parliament next week.

The Israeli Government is committing genocide in Gaza. The occupation of the Palestinian Territories is unlawful. British military bases must not be used to facilitate war crimes. I questioned the Minister on this earlier in the week.

Nigel Farage is as far from being a "man of the people" as you can get. No-one I know has £5 million to spare, let alone give away. Most of us can’t even imagine this amount of money. This by-election is a shameless farce to distract from legitimate scrutiny.

Millions is thrown at politics to secure outcomes that make the rich ever richer. The wealthiest in society buy access ordinary people cannot afford - hard‑wiring inequality into the system. I’m backing a ban on donors using cosy relationships to land government contracts.

The Israeli Government tortures prisoners, including children. I’ve supported @gbsumudflotilla in its letter opposing torture and sexual violence. It calls for sanctions on Benjamin Netanyahu. Time for widespread sanctions and to finally recognise the genocide in Gaza.

I’ve tabled a Parliamentary Motion opposing changes to ILR. People who’ve built families and friendships here aren’t strangers - they’re part of communities. Government can’t wriggle out of its promises to decent people like a cheap con-man Fairness and honesty still matter.

The energy price cap is going up. Endless squeezing of families, cost after cost, day after day, can't be the new normal. We need: 💰Action to bring bills down, including taxing war profits. ⚡️Public control of energy to manage prices & build long-term national suffiency.

MPs in a side‑room just voted to strip back democracy. Elected councillors and local people will be sidelined in shaping their own future. Nobody voted Labour to lose power over shaping the place they live. We promised to empower people. This does the opposite.

It’s getting hot in here. As roads melt, railways warp and wildfires rage still fossil fuel companies cash in profits. We will all pay for their greed if we don't get hands on in the fight for a liveable planet.

I welcomed activists to Parliament campaigning to end fox hunting. Reports suggest the pro-hunt lobby has £650,000 for a plot to "hoodwink" Ministers. Loopholes let the killing continue after the Hunting Act 20 years ago. Back my Bill to end hunting for good.

The world's moved on from greyhound racing. Scotland and Wales have passed bans - it's time England followed suit. Dogs with lives scarred by isolation, cruelty, injury and all too often an early grave. 100 years on it's time to call the last lap on this animal cruelty.
