Last night's #SmackDown - specifically the main event - completely killed all hope.
Jey Uso didn't win because he's more talented or just a bigger star than everyone else; he won because some asshole or two backstage happens to like him more than the rest.
The guy has a catchy theme song and a stupid catchphrase - now shut up, eat it up, and enjoy. F*ck ring work, mic skills, charisma, variety, or storyline consistency. "Because we said so."
This isn’t just about one match or one winner. This is a clear signal that nothing is going to change. Everyone loves it, everything works perfectly, we don’t need any changes.
Honestly, I don’t think I’ve been this disappointed in a long time.
