The Milan Smit deal is a curiosity. The manager didn't play him much, didn't seem keen on him, yet we've had to sign him for a decent chunk of cash. What next? Offload back to Holland? Hope he develops, initially as back-up? Make him a starter & cross our fingers it works out?

@damian_lythgoe I'm amazed that Wardley's got as far as he has tbh. His courage, chin and knockout power are all top level, but he has no idea how to pace a fight, defend himself, judge distance...etc. He's a great story, but Dubois was a bridge too far.

One of the most entertaining fights I've ever seen. Only heavyweight boxing delivers a spectacle like that. Insane. Wardley has proved me wrong time and time again, but Dubois just had too much for someone who's all heart and power but has next to no defence.
