@EastMidRailway Now you are aware of this I hope you will not be cramming sardines (oops passengers) into overcrowded carriages as you will be prepared and not sell more tickets than available seats. (that's my April fools post as you obviously WILL use a sardine packer at all your stations).

@seandunderdale Definitely a drop. But no more milk if I topped up the cup with more tea. I cannot stand tea to get to milky. I tend to drink tea black with no sugar. I got put off milk when my infant school tried to force it on me during the morning break as that third of a pint tasted foul.

Just bought a cuppa in a cafe and, when I said I’d like milk, the guy serving asked if I’d like a drop, a dollop or a deluge? I like that as a serving suggestion! Which would you choose?

@micheal_lawson @EastMidRailway They rehearsed this yesterday evening by cancelling the 18:05 from St Pancras and then halved the number of carriages on the 18:32 so everyone could get used to being sardines.

@EastMidRailway Why on earth would you do engineering works that could potentially affect St Pancras customers when LNER is always down the same time?! My partner is now facing a huge delay trying to get to Peterborough and your trains just have 5 coaches?!

@EastMidRailway Do you advise me that you will hold the, stopping, service in Loughborough (as it has a long wait in Leicester before returning) Or do you advise waiting the best part of an hour in Leicester to catch the next one and claim a full delay repay refund for an hour late in Sileby?

@EastMidRailway We were due Leicester with a 7 minute window to catch the local service to Sileby. We will now miss this connection. There is an 11 minute window to catch the opposite local service from Loughborough to Sileby. We will also miss this due to the lateness of the Sheffield train.

@EastMidRailway 938 Leicester to Kettering / St Pancras showed Harborough & Kettering when the train stopped at Leicester On departure it isn't calling at intermediate stations. So got to go London & then back again I understand why you need to make changes but they need 2b properly displayed.

@rtruscott @EastMidRailway We know EMR don't give a monkeys about public safety. Not only do they dangerously overcrowd trains, as you have observed, but they also break the law by wilfully blocking emergency exits at stations such as Nottingham.

This @EastMidRailway train (19:02 Chesterfield-London St Panc) is RIDICULOUSLY overcrowded! Standing room only & people on Derby platform waiting to board are struggling to get on; what’s going to happen an next 2/3 stops? Recent times I’ve taken this train its been nearly empty!

@EastMidRailway @rtruscott One day there will be a serious accident. As EMR employ sardine packers at the stations then the number of fatalities on a dangerously overcrowded train will be massive. Airlines, theatres, sports grounds cannot sell more tickets than they have seats for this reason of safety.

@BedandBrekkie @EastMidRailway It would be worse at Nottingham Station as they have also, illegally, blocked the emergency exits.

Total chaos at St Pancras Station this afternoon, staff haven’t got a clue and no communication between them. No seats, First Class declassified, corridors full so no access to the lavatories, no buffet service and no apology. Shockingly bad journey @EastMidRailway

A ticket that costs triple what it does in France or Spain. 50-odd quid for a one hour journey from Harborough to London… And we are so rammed in that the disabled lady behind me cannot get to the bathroom…which was out of order anyway. What a disgrace from @EastMidRailway.
