@godofgambling It's needs to be modelled on other sports. VAR only used on appeal from the "wronged" team. One failed appeal per team per half. Then it would be used for "obvious errors" and not offside by big toe or goalie half inch in front of the line at a penalty.

I heard Andy Burnham say he hated var and wanted it binned. Be interesting to see what unfolds going forward. I dont hate var but football is undoubtedly different now. I think players and season ticket holders should be given a vote on the matter.

@LenGroat Ive seen that it takes just under 4 and a half hours to get from Rotherham to the location, excluding delays for rush hour traffic (and without any breaks). The suspect was seen in Rotherham around 4 hours before the murder. The time line doesn't fit.

@LenGroat I would want there to be a pretty impressive haul, not just cheap tat to re-sell at the pub, if I was going to spend well over £200 on the fuel to get to the location of the burglary and back again. (600 miles at 40p per mile to cover fuel and wear & tear on the car).

If this was a left wing politician and a right wing comment then all hell would break loose and it would be described in MSM as a "hate crime". @mitchell_hurd @EastMidRailway There are not many "direct coach services" from the main towns in the greater East Midlands to holiday destinations such as Skegness, Cleethorpes & Blackpool Holidays were booked months ago It's disgraceful that #EMR are cancelling services, last minute, to ruin family holidays

@Katie_Lam_MP The cameras are there for security reasons and everyone who enters the shop consents to those cameras recording them. If the pictures are then used to assist in security then that is OK as the people in those pictures have already given consent for there images to be so used.

A shop owner in my constituency was ignored by the police when he reported shoplifting. But when he displayed pictures of the thieves, the police showed up - to tell him that those pictures violated GDPR. Madness. A free run for criminals, while normal people get crushed.
