I want to explain what has been happening with Loyalty because there is a lot of people talking about it lately on discord.
The same day we qualified for MRI, I received a message saying that only 4 players would attend — the 3 Korean (wnsgur - gamebo - reguri) players and myself. The other 3 players were removed from the team without any prior notice (scape, anx, den). This clearly showed that the decision had already been made, and replacements were already prepared in advance.
This situation really upset me. The first thing I did was apologize to the players who were removed, because just like me, everyone who participated deserved the chance to play at MRI. Without them, we wouldn’t have qualified. Despite that, I decided to follow the Korean players’ decision as I was asked to.
My main role is DPS, but during MRC I had to fill in for almost every role, so I barely played DPS at all. Because of that, I thought MRI would finally be my chance to play my main role.
However, when we arrived, I found out they were in contact with ex-Crazy Raccoon player, who hadn’t been playing since CR disbanded, and they wanted him to take the main DPS role — without informing me or discussing it with me at all. Their plan was for me to remain as a flex player and maybe sub, this time for someone who wasn’t even actively playing the game. I was also the only non-Korean player on the team.
This player eventually decided not to continue because he wanted to focus on another game, so I thought it was finally my turn to play DPS. But right after that, they contacted another DPS player — again, without telling me anything. I want to make it clear that I’m not upset at any of the players who were contacted, since they didn’t know the situation.
At the same time, our support who was responsible in a big part for removing our original teammates (to build a “stronger” roster) got an offer from a strong team and decided to leave — after completely dismantling the team that qualified for MRI. (I don’t judge him for leaving but I do for all the rest)
Because of this, we were left without one of the original main roster players from MRC. They then apologized to one of the players who had been kicked earlier and asked him to come back, so we could have 4 original members again.
Due to all of these situations, one of the new tanks sang also decided to leave. He didn’t agree with how decisions were being made — everything was done in secret, without consulting us. Even he didn’t understand why they were trying to bring in more DPS players when what we actually needed was a support, especially after wnsgur left.
In the end, the team disbanded. We almost didn’t make it to MRI, and now we are back with the original players who qualified through MRC, reguri and Neil decided to quit few hours before sending line up and only gamebo stayed with us this time.
All of this has been very demotivating for me. In Season 2, when I qualified with another Korean team, I was also removed on the day of lineup submission because “I didn’t speak Korean.” So I lost my chance to play MRI that time…
Honestly, this situation is really discouraging and sad
Regardless of everything that happened, we’ll give it our all at MRI.
