@sophie_miskiw When your biggest praise is "You're a good man," you might want to rethink your social abilities.
Also now I want a spin-off where Meera returns and – preferrably together with Brienne – fights Bran for the throne (and wins, of course).

He's a representation of all those people who don't do anything in the group project and still get an A. So I'd say his point is to rub into all of our faces that life is unfair.

"Egal" is a word that is being used quite frequently in German. Even being a native speaker, I didn't realise how much everyone around me used it until I wrote this piece for @TheLocalGermany. It was a really fun #WordOfTheDay to write and I hope you all enjoy it!

Hanover sometimes has the reputation of being a bit dull. Festivals like this prove the opposite. Having lived in Hanover most of my life, I am glad that I got the chance to write about one of my favourite festivals here: The "blue miracle."
Hope you enjoy the article!

I went to Sweden for only three months, but still experienced some sort of a "reverse culture shock" when I went back to Germany. For @TheLocalSweden, I put together a rather personal article about the ten things I miss the most. Spoiler: Cinnamon Buns are on the list.

This was by far one of the words that were the hardest to explain in English. In German, you can basically use it in every sentence.

Here's another #WordoftheDay, which has been an absolute pleasure to write. "Duzen" is always quite a struggle in Germany (even as a native speaker) and it was quite fun to look at "per Du" from a different angle. Enjoy and happy weekend!
