Cut them off. Thats what I did. People need to remember that you don’t choose your family, but as an adult you can choose the level to which they influence you and yours! I specifically remember the point when I realised my actual family (my wife and my kids!) were now my priority and focus… the people who brought me into the world…whilst I’m grateful for that… have zero influence over me as an adult.
