Our Nyeri Women Rep has been in office since 2017, and seeking a Third term She has NEVER implemented the specific PFM (NGAAF) Regulation that would establish a GBV Centre in Nyeri to handle the survivors In 2025, 955 cases of GBV were recorded in our Public Health facilities

A couple of concerned friends have been asking me "Now what" 🤷🏿‍♂️ And my response ....all roads lead to the County Assembly, our Nyeri MCAs hold the key We can make all the noise,walk all over the County, posts But in the end ...all roads 🛣️ must lead to our Nyeri MCAs

CG019 HAS NEVER ALLOCATED RESOURCES FOR A GBV CENTRE 😡... I combed through different budget documents as far back as 2022.... NEVER 😔.. Am disappointed by Department of Gender Nyeri considering they have TWO POLICIES expressly calling for the establishment of a GBV Centre..

@County19Nyeri HAS NEVER allocated resources for a GBV survivors safe house..yet the Nyeri Gender Policy expressly says one should be established, the Nyeri Youth Policy too states the same.. yet 019 has NEVER ALLOCATED RESOURCES..check out their data on GBV cases
