@Luuuiz_HF Hey I'd give for one that just removes chronic pain first! 😁 My old dog, Wylie, needed a couple surgeries on his paw, it was rough, can't imagine what healing from twin ACL was like for her!

Zoe update: Two brand-new ACLs and she’s basically a whole new dog. Stronger, faster, and way more chaotic. It’s 10:20 and she’s doing zoomies inside the house like she owns the place.

This is my free EOD breadth level panel on @tradingview — you can use the same ticker to build your own, there are much more options but I always have mine based on traditional MA value. Breadth absolutely deserves a place in your trading system, and I couldn’t agree more. When used right, it’s incredibly powerful — especially when you combine with a thorough screen of sectors and industry groups showing relative strength. One important nuance I want to highlight: relative strength isn't just about securities outperforming the benchmark on the surface. It also emerges from names that show the least weakness during prolonged down moves. That resilience matters, and that itself will be a upturning RS on a line chart based indicator. To consistently spot these opportunities, routine is everything. Regardless of what the market throws at you, your process has to stay intact — it’s what anchors your emotional discipline. Don't shut off yourself from market because of capitulation days, you should actually put even more time to mutiple screening to sieve out names for your watchlist. P.S. If the market gives us one more round of capitulation, I’m genuinely excited about the potential long bias setups that could follow. ES Futures at asia open now has already gapped down but with potential doji star to close (indecision candle), and reduced volatility going forward can build the second bear flag for April.

If you want to improve your market timing skills and setups, study market breadth. It is the most used concept in market timing models, and many resources on it are freely available. Go 5000 deep on this concept, which will help you avoid periods like these. Market Breadth is market-generated information about underlying buying and selling pressure in the market. It does not lie.

@Luuuiz_HF Yo, been quiet on the trading front here in the face of everything, life and the markets! Hoping you have a good day, felt like I only truly knew myself when I turned 30, took me a little longer to grow up though. Enjoy the day and night 😎

Now that I’ve turned 3.0, does that mean I can enjoy a drink a little more? 🍻 Obrigado papai do céu por todas as oportunidades que o senhor tem me proporcionado.

Here are a few examples of trades that I've taken over the past few days/weeks... I buy momentum bursts like @PradeepBonde teaches. Very basic. One primary setup. MY goal is to make 200-300 per year as a very part time trader. My goal is to have 55% + win rate and 2R avg.

@felipeguirao Well the proof is in your trading career. I'll read the Claude report tonight (be interested to see how good it really is) and get back to you at some point, if that's okay 😁

@NelsonHistory Not only are there none, but consider this a "bad" thing. I believe it is quite the opposite.

You don't need to spend hours in front of your charts to make big returns. I swing trade stocks, and here is my daily process: - Show up 30 min before the NYSE close - Open up TC2000 with all my pre-defined scans - Look at my breadth indicators and indexes in 30 seconds (know the cycle) - Get scanning for 10 minutes, - Select stocks that meet my system rules - If there are trades I enter just before the close, - Put my stop loss, - and close my computer... Next day I came back to do the same. I do all my trading in the last 20-30 minutes of my trading day. A simple process I've done daily for years now. It's effective, repeatable, and got me triple-digit % returns on avg for the past 6 years, with a <10% max drawdown. You don't even need to be the first hours of the market open to enter breakouts. You can swing trade, kill it, and still have a life to do other things. That's what trading should be all about anyway.

@felipeguirao Yeah I've broadly covered most trading approaches in my time researching trading and investing, read all the Schwager interviews (hyped for the new book) but not come across possibly any EOD traders! None that come to mind anyway. Good for you man, exciting forging your own path

@NelsonHistory Trading EOD is something nobody ever does in stock trading. I have a background in futures and systems trading, I'm carrying into stocks, that's why I'm one of the very few doing this.

@felipeguirao I bet! Whose work influenced you the most re: trading late in the day, any books I can take a deep dive into? I got Claude to do me a report I'm reading now, it's suggesting Linda Raschke (whose material I've read before, handily)

@Luuuiz_HF More selling pressure on positive, surprise earnings results and the OpenAI deal isn't a *great* indicator 😅 not sure what to make about that tbh

@felipeguirao In fact, don't worry - I'll have a look on your profile and see if you have more info, I'm sure I've seen a few posts where you lay it all out 💪 thank you - I've hardly seen any strategies for the end of the day, it really could work out quite well for me timewise

@felipeguirao Thanks Felipe. Very nice! Are your volatility scans based on anyone in particular's work, eg Minervini's VPC etc?

@NelsonHistory Haha that's the idea, to get the returns with min drawdowns during the year, and have a life. I like to build businesses (offline as well), you can do whatever you want. Just make sure to do something and not just watch your positions all day haha
