as someone who was only on the life series/hermitcraft/empires side of the MCYT fandom and only recently got into Statesmp as a fandom, i miss how mature the other side is, cause rn statetwt IS GOING THE SAME PATH AS DREAMSMP! CAUSE HOW IS RESPECTING BOUNDARIES SO HARD FOR Y'ALL

the fact that some of u genuinely think your feelings matter more than a CC that you are benefiting from breaking their boundaries, making them uncomfortable, and reducing their hardwork as an individual to suit your shipping agenda is mind-boggling. yes, shipping culture is within every fandom, it’s unavoidable. but you know what is avoidable? CCs constantly seeing the stuff that makes them uncomfortable. fans need to do a better job at tagging their works (i.e if ur posting flxrta, dont use hashtags that the CCs could be lurking under). if your shipping-related tweet can’t be muted by a few words or phrases, you shouldnt even post it. flux’s boundaries are pretty damn straight forward too so idk why anyone is getting it twisted LMAO. and stop labeling your very clear ship art as “duo” art 😭 lowk same with edits, like holy does uutt have a problem with saying “NOT A SHIP!” when its an edit of imperial fire and then the lyrics in the back are like “i should be who you’re engaged to” 😭😭 son i’m crine also, even if you do disagree with his statement, replying with some unnecessary bullshit like “fuck you” “yeah go for the minority of the community” doesn’t add anything to the conversation, you’re actually only making the discussion into a more hostile environment because you’re so tilted that a CC is bold enough to say something. i fear a lot of you are too concerned on the whole “it’s only a small group of people that do that! i ship but i’m not like them!” like thats not what he’s saying bro anyways, whole situation can just be dumbed down to one thing: lack of fandom etiquette.
