@Hakage64 Ok yeah I get that. Like, in short, Paper Mario is great because of its gameplay events. It's hard to explain, but EVERYTHING is an interesting event in Paper Mario. And yeah in bowser's castle aside from the gate thing and maybe the layout of some rooms, there are none.

@NeonFridgeGames I mean stuff like rasing and lowering the water to hit the switches and enter different rooms with keys far away from each other. That combined with all the enemies makes it excruciating. I think it's an rpg problem in general.

Finished paper mario. Everything ruled except chapter 8. That endgame singlehandedly brought the game down by an entire point imo 💀

@Hakage64 Also the final boss fight I mean yeah star beam is there to just be cool for cutscenes and stuff but ignoring that I find nothing particularly bad about the fight itself.

@Hakage64 I kinda agree with the enemy spam, although to me it seemed still quite balanced overall, considering it's the final level so a bit more resource management should be required. Also I mean a lot of the fights you can just skip. I'm not sure about the fetch questing? Wdym by that?

Code originally found on gamedev.stackexchange, it's working wonders for our purposes and it adapts well for different resolutions. Not bad at all! Still, if you have some suggestions on how to scale the camera in relation to the sprite of stages, leave a reply down below! 😄

Unity Mathf functions are the baes :) Acceleration is a tricky topic dependant on genre. We opted for low acceleration time so that Carboncino can quickly reach maximum velocity. It's a necessity in a hectic boss rush game :)
