@NeonGamerex4NG On Linux it won't directly work as wallpaper, but as mentioned above, you can run the app with mouse pass-thru mode which effectively make it part of the desktop/wallpaper. Maybe I will demonstrate it in the future

Some progress on 3D wallpaper. 2D-to-3D conversion and effects work well with tall and wide images. And if mouse is idle for some time, camera can be set to move automatically #XRAnimator

If you have been following me long enough, you probably know that "System Animator", the predecessor of #XRAnimator, is a desktop gadget. With the latest 2D-to-3D backdrop feature, it looks fun to actually turn this idea into real 3D desktop wallpaper!🪄 Anyone interested?🙌

@NeonGamerex4NG Nah that's not my question. What I meant was people taking the reference you sent them. Literally lassoing part of it and sticking it on the model as part of a texture.

Out of curiosity for any 3D modeler that sees this, can you tell me if it's common practice for the modeler to use the actual art ref they're given to create the textures for the model? Or are they supposed to make them from scratch somehow?
