@Executor250624 @alittleyareli Gyro works pretty well on ShadPS4 with a Switch Pro Controller. Assumably would be good with a DS4 or DualSense as well.

you can't call yourself a ludophile or a gamer until you've played Gravity Rush on original hardware with motion controls. sorry. i don't make the rules. you have to.

@alittleyareli I have it on Vita. Great game, wish the series wasn't abandoned. Have thought about getting a PS4 primarily for Remastered and 2 (along with Witch and the Hundred Knight Revival) but with ShadPS4 making progress now, probably gonna forget about that.

@Thatisdiffi Wouldn't say it's enough for me to deduct two stars if I were rating a game, just sours my view some. Issues at launch can be overlooked if they're fixed in a patch, but if it's something that's fully released and no longer receiving support, well hopefully there's a fan fix.

@NepBlaster16 I have a very high tolerance for a variety of performance/technical issues. So, even despite them, I may still find the game enjoyable. Like, despite Silly Polly Beast constantly softlocking at launch (could do nothing for a minute, then game resumes normally), I still loved it.

I feel this sometimes. The latter one specifically. Ultimately, it comes down to this: Did I personally enjoy the game, or not?

@vanillycringus @kyros_xn @SlySinatraa PC games are a little different, but I'd count those more as 5th gen adjacent titles, since you wouldn't really get a reasonable conversion on 4th gen consoles, especially System Shock (and the fact that Ultima Underworld has a PlayStation port)

My biggest filtering as a gamer is being not interested at all in anything that released before the PS1 era/1994, and I have no idea why.

@yosuvarley I'd just get an ODE or flash cart like the Saru or Satiator at this point. Much cheaper than buying the games in the long run.

@Thatisdiffi Sucks you had to go through that. Reminds me of something a friend had to go through, with someone making lots of gross stuff when they didn't want them to.

I had to block someone in my DMs. They just didn't understand boundaries. They asked me permission for something, I said no. Then they said they'd do it anyway. When I tried to explain boundaries, they'd repeatedly say they don't understand, then call me an egocentric smart-ass.

I prefer the term "My Computer" instead of "This PC"

@Thatisdiffi Guess it depends on what you want out of a game and the kinds of games you like. I liked the original well enough, and I've always been a big fan of The Sims and Animal Crossing as well, so I really vibe with games like these.

@NepBlaster16 I feel like I'll just see it as a novelty that I'll get quickly tired of after making all my characters in it. But I'll be pleasantly surprised if that ends up not being the case.

Okay, so I did order the game shortly after making that tweet. And I just now remembered I should probably order a fine tip stylus so I can draw the faces on my miis more easily. Imma do that rn
