When will AI build better AI without human intervention?

This is actually insane. Dude hard-coded a WebAssembly (WASM) interpreter into the weights of a transformer, losslessly. In essence, a computer is running inside a LLM that can actually run computations, not infer or guess a calculation like most do today.
Christos Tzamos@ChristosTzamos

1/4 LLMs solve research grade math problems but struggle with basic calculations. We bridge this gap by turning them to computers. We built a computer INSIDE a transformer that can run programs for millions of steps in seconds solving even the hardest Sudokus with 100% accuracy

Setting your intention for correctness is a hard and mandatory problem in AI coding. Your code will match your intent, not the solution you think it should produce. Intent is detailed and upfront. Rewriting SQLite in Rust with missing intentions gives a broken database engine. It works but does more harm than good. The same goes for the simplest code you write. The LLM will match your intention, and if there is no way for it to revise and correct itself, you will only get a piece of your intention. In this example, the intention was to replicate SQLite in C with Rust. It missed key concepts and introduced bugs among 500k+ lines. It is impossible to debug if this is not your passion or job. I imagine more of these bugs creeping into every corporate codebase as we ship faster with limited intent. If that is the case, how do we convince leadership to create space for engineers to provide intent and iteration cycles for the AI Agents while the shipping speed is lightning fast? 🚢 ⚡️

Released today: /loop /loop is a powerful new way to schedule recurring tasks, for up to 3 days at a time eg. “/loop babysit all my PRs. Auto-fix build issues and when comments come in, use a worktree agent to fix them” eg. “/loop every morning use the Slack MCP to give me a summary of top posts I was tagged in” Let us know what you think!

Hey @the_yamiteru, from one builder to another, just came here to say that anytime I asked a question like this on X, the responses, positive or negative, did not have any value. However, having observed many successful app/tool launches, if you build something to solve a problem of your own, does not matter the size, just a problem you experience firsthand, and simply build for yourself, only then when you let it out, it has the greatest chance of success and a much higher signal for questions like these. So, build something for yourself, then share it with the world. Chase the problem and the money seems to follow. Don’t get motivated or demotivated by some random person saying “I’d pay for it,” people say all kinds of things here. Wishing you the best. Keep crafting 🧱

Would you pay 10x more for a code review platform (similar to e.g. Greptile) that's better than a senior software engineer while being able to do the code review in under 2 minutes? I'm just asking around to see if I should build it (I already have a prototype).

`tabular-nums` should be the default for any number that updates ( timers, counters, prices, percentages, scores, live data etc ). you can enable this tnum OpenType feature using the CSS property `font-variant-numeric`. .tabular-nums { font-variant-numeric: tabular-nums; }

Someone asked what's the most underappreciated quality in startup founders. I realized I could answer this by asking what's the most underappreciated aspect of startups. That's easy: how hard they are. So the most underappreciated quality in founders is sheer toughness.

@selinayfilizp What is the best site to do it? Also, maybe you should vibe code a more natural language/voice-input version of this test?

I just retook the personality test after 5 years. I was ENTJ-T in 2020 and ENTJ-A. Same ambition with less internal noise now. Highly recommend if you did yours a while ago

In this era of RELENTLESS ai development, which I honestly contribute to myself, I have grown the utmost respect for: friends who make time for deep conversations, partners who make time for each other, and parents who make time for their kids. Keep it up, humanity 🤖🤍🌍

My wife has stopped using any apps or UI for analytics. She goes in Slack, talks to her `@amplitude` and gets her answers. This is it. Her entire business analytics in Slack from ad spend to conversion events. I feel like I am witnessing the next era of analytics right in my home

Al has collapsed the time it takes to ship a feature. Now it's all about shipping the right thing. It's just as hard as it ever was. As coding gets automated, agentic analytics becomes the bottleneck. Teams that win will build within context rich environments that capture user behavior and customer feedback, making that data accessible to both builders and agents. Today @Amplitude_HQ is launching our Al Analytics Platform with Agents and MCP. Autonomous analytics that helps builders and coding agents ship products that their customers actually want. Just as our partner @claudeai has reinvented software, Amplitude is reinventing analytics for the Al age. We have achieved 76% accuracy for complex production grade queries and agentic usage has grown 10x in 3 months. Don't just build fast, build what's right. Try it for free, today.

I actually have a little personal story on this one. Will post shortly. The world of Analytics have completely changed, ground up, top to bottom. Good work Amplitude.

In this new time-driven multidimensional context architecture, the memory concepts of organisms, such as forgetting or dreaming, will not be added features but will be emergent, native behavior due to the new architecture.

The critical part is introducing this plasticity into the core model parameters without increasing cost and energy, but rather reducing them, due to the unneeded additional context window. This is almost paradoxical today…
