Let’s be clear about what this does: it puts targets on innocent people. In this climate, it is dangerous. If the intent is to see uninvolved individuals harassed, detained, or worse under the Tinubu administration and in the hands of the powerful people we take on, then say it plainly. Because that is the real-world consequence of laundering falsehoods like this into public discourse. gst has been publicly transparent from day one in our reporting, our interviews, and our operations. Our reporters are visible. We are accountable. We make disclosures. We are not anonymous actors hiding behind what we publish. We will not stop fighting for people. And if all of this escalation is because we asked basic questions about what is being sold as food to Nigerians, then the public can see this for what it is: a war being waged against their health. What is being done here is not criticism. It is the kind of dangerous fabrication that puts lives at risk. And everyone involved should be ashamed.
