@NerdKnight111 If I didn't put the phone on the right place to let it dry off, there might still be consequences even days later? Is it possible there's still a liquid inside that won't dry by itself? Or I'm wondering what other material it might be.. I do feel the port is damaged though.

My phone is broken again.. not even a YEAR old phone this time... Wtf it means when it refuses to charge? When I put the charger in, the charging shows up but isn't happening, though the battery doesn't die while it's in a charger, it stays on the same % What might be the cause?

@Majka_626 If you feel as if the port does get wet, leave it alone and don't touch it Put it in an area with adequate airflow to allow it to dry

@Majka_626 Most phones have some water resistance. Unless the charging port gets soaking wet, like you accidentally dropped it in water or excessive liquid spilled on it, that shouldn't have damaged it too much

@Majka_626 It's definitely a hardware issue for sure, it could also be that the phone was poorly manufactured Definitely going to have to get that fixed. Depending on how long you've had it, it might also fall under a manufacturers warranty

@NerdKnight111 The port is definitely a problem. Mom has bought a new charger in case, but when it has finally charged to 92%, then suddenly began to die again while in the charger...
