It was mid filler. At this point honestly the comic is fucking better, all of you should read it from the beginning since they significantly changed certain side characters, the art style, and now the pacing.

@pvnishedsonne You do realize their animators get paid slave labor wages and get overworked to the point some commit suicide? Besides that, I'd be ok with them hiring Mappa to animate it for a quality increase in animation.

@pvnishedsonne You do realize the style of a comic, especially with Ryan Ottleys design work how long that'd take to replicate to animate? It's not realistic, they can give it some more grading and some color contrast, but not much else, unless ur willow to wait 3-5 years each season

@pvnishedsonne And use said budget increase to hire more animators so the quality gets better in that department. I also am ok with some of these plot changes, as Kirkman himself has made them as the original comic had it's plot inconsistencies and the show has fixed those so far mostly.

@pvnishedsonne You do realize the budget per episode is only 2.5 Million, and most of the voice acting is quite good. I agree that some of the celebs didn't need to be hired for small guest character roles, but that isn't as much money as you'd think, they should get more budget. 1/2

People are so quick to assume the worst intentions in others, but when you're really in that dark of a place, all you want is to feel like someone out there understands your suffering. Unless you've ever been in crisis, you're not going to understand what that feels like. However, the least you could do is have some compassion for someone who is in distress, and give them the benefit of the doubt.
