@xMafius @leafmoding £44,99 to even get housing, £75 decor packs, £8,69/month. So what you might not lose your house but you still pay to play the game just like FFXIV... atleast housing is a base game feature in FFXIV

@Nerivala @leafmoding Maybe, but both systems deserve their own criticism. As I mentioned before, I played up to patch .3 of DT and leveled all jobs and professions. I’m pretty sure relying on addons like BTHD isn’t ideal, and it doesn’t look like they have any intention of changing the current system

@Nerivala It is, you don't need Midnight to do it. They just had early access for people who pre-ordered the expac, but when it launched, it became a base feature.

I'm sorry, but there is still no comparison; every WoW player has access to housing from the start. No lottery system and no worry about maintaining your house if you take a break from the game. There is also infinitely more decor obtained in-game than through the shop.

@xMafius @leafmoding The FFXIV player base also doesn't like the rent system. But atleast it's not drowning in bugs and corporate greed

@Nerivala @leafmoding If you lose your house, you have to go through the same shitty system all over again, which can take months, and you have to maintain it by paying a monthly fee. I’m not defending WoW’s payment system, but FFXIV clearly has a serious problem with its housing system.
