@cardiffcouncil I did this today & the extra black bag filled with wrapping paper has been left! My neighbours who also left an extra bag have not been collected either. Will there be another collection for these please?

We will collect one additional black bag - containing wrapping paper only - when presented alongside your black bin or bags on their usual collection day following Christmas. Find your collection dates visit orlo.uk/Ig8EG

Over the Christmas period, your recycling & waste collection could be later than usual. Wrapping paper will not be collected from recycling bags or sacks and will need to be put into black bins or bags for collection.

Goodhart's Law: “When a measure becomes a target, it ceases to be a good measure.” A famous historical example is the "cobra effect": in India during British rule, the government, concerned about the number of venomous cobras, offered a bounty for every dead cobra. Initially, this was successful. Then people started breeding cobras for the income. The reward programme was scrapped so the breeders set their snakes free & increased the cobra numbers. @OxoSLT 💯 agree with you & so pleased we’ve devpd practice beyond simply modifying. Our toolkit regularly incl rehab etc 🎉 for some pple though modified diets/fluids are useful & showing that this week to MSs provided a focus for discussion & the significant impact dysphagia can have.

I’m not telling you for sympathy, but because I know more than most that it’s easy to say “tomorrow” or make excuses for why we can’t. Dysphagia rehab needs to change. We can’t act like we’re swallow aware because we’re showcasing puréed meals, it’s not enough. Let’s rehab 💪🏼

Can I share something? The past 6 months have been insanely difficult. I’ve lost two babies and my world has fallen apart. But, I’m still here, banging on about Phagenyx. Not because I’m a rep or because it’s my job, but because I genuinely believe it’s life-changing 1/3
