@LokiJarson True enough. I honestly pay so little attention to it that I needed someone to tell me that expedition 33 had won anything. (I was streaming mega man x5 during the game awards, if that gives any idea how much I cared about them.😹)

Since the debacle of 2020 tlou2, geoff and friends have played it extremely safe. It's also why yotei got nothing, too much bad press.

Expedition 33 absolutely deserves the awards that it has gotten. Frankly, I'm shocked it got them because the game awards typically are EXTREMELY untrustworthy, but even a broken clock is right twice a day.

It's kinda funny how much people forget the old rules of the internet. People, Expedition 33 is an amazing game. We all know that. The Awards just told us what we already know. And now, a lot of non-gamers, and people looking to get attention (and some money) are out here saying stupid shit - and people are falling for it. Sure, there are going to be some people who are earnest about their "hot take", but more than that, people just like to see other people mad. If some moron is out here complaining the game didn't deserve its awards, that it's "unfair" for a game to win so many awards, and ESPECIALLY if they're saying "I never played it, I'm going to not play it more now" - at least take a deep breath and think about if that person matters in the grand scheme of things. At least TRY to not feed the trolls.
