Income for developers won't necessarily be limited to specific dapps. The upcoming nano economics will earn blueprint developers a 30% share of transaction fees generated by their blueprints (70% will be burned). So if you build a blueprint that gains traction and other developers might want to use in their dapps, it will create income for you. In other words, you won't necessarily have to build complete applications to be rewarded. Any dapp using your blueprint in its contracts and generating transaction volume means ongoing rewards for you. It could prove valuable to create highly specialized blueprints that do only one thing very well and that are highly modular so they can serve as building blocks for more complex applications. This could encourage developers to design small, efficient blueprints that can be adopted widely across different dapps. As a result we could see certain blueprints that improve the developer experience effectively become informal standards on the network.
