Yamal spams dribbles, both useless and useful ones, Olise doesn’t. His decision making is top notch and he’s always looking to find a teammate. While Yamal will take on 30 players before releasing the ball, Olise will unlock a defense with just one pass.

Some Barcelona fans say dribbling is one reason Yamal is better than Olise, but I’d disagree. Olise is more efficient he doesn’t force unnecessary take-ons and knows when to release the ball. Yamal often tries to beat one defender too many, which leads to more turnovers. I’ll take smart, efficient dribbling over TikTok dribbling ffs.
