One decision can change someone else’s life. For Chelsea McNichols, that decision began with a Facebook post and a deep sense of faith. This week on 'This Thing Called Life', host Andi Johnson sits down with Chelsea McNichols, whose story will stay with you. Chelsea is a mom of two and a Network for Hope Hospital Partnership Liaison. In 2025, she followed a calling that became a life-changing “yes.” Chelsea became an altruistic living kidney donor for Reed, a 4-year-old who had spent much of his young life in and out of the ICU, waiting in the hospital and on dialysis. Education is power, and prevention is possible. This event is free and open to the public!
