Genuine question: Why do so many Arabs and people with olive or Mediterranean skin tones seem SO obsessed with pale skin? Genuinely, I think a healthy tan often looks better and more vibrant in most cases.

As for the military skills you really can’t say he was bad stupid since he conquered several nations. I don’t deny that he had mistakes, but to say he was horrible is a mistake.
