The sense that you can’t disconnect from work is a major source of burnout in academic medicine.
In the @UvaDOM we’re rolling out a new email guideline for faculty and staff to help alleviate this.
I don’t expect it to be perfect, but it’s worse to not try something.

@TaisonBell @UvaDOM This looks fabulous! I wonder if your team discussed including some info. about expectations for responding to emails that have been scheduled to arrive during reg. business hrs? Had a vision of tons of scheduled emails arriving to my inbox all at once at the start of work hrs 🙃
