We only tested a few markers (D1/D2 dopamine receptors + pDyn), which were differentially expressed but not unique to TRAPed dMSNs. The idea of identifying a unique marker is fascinating, but would require more large-scale approaches (i.e. RNAseq).

Got together with @synaptokevin & @NeuroMikeRyan from the @SCAgingBrain to discuss #healthyaging. We take a multi-level approach to understand how brains age in the absence of disease. In this sense, aging can be an example of active remodeling rather than degeneration.
