@thintechgodhead @_ErinLee Thank you for this wording. Agree strongly. People deserve the freedom to choose their exit on their own terms when pain is just too much. And also, the lack of adequate healthcare & financial support is a huge reason why people want to self-unalive. This NEEDS to be fixed STAT.

assisted suicide is one of those things where i very strongly agree in theory but in practice seeing people be told “well no we won’t cover this treatment for your disease but you CAN kill yourself” is absolutely fucking heinous

The last few years have been revolutionary for me in many ways. One was realizing my Italian Nana who raised me was a person of color, likely from mixed middle eastern ancestry, according to family DNA reports. She taught me what love meant. I’ve missed her every day for 20 years

I lost so many years of my life to abusive Patriarchal ministry. As a deeply spiritual human, my path in life should have been encouragement and mentorship towards a career in a religious setting. Instead I was baptized by a pedophile then blocked from minister by a child abuser.
