Agree. While some surgeries are needed, opening up non-essential services and using up PPE is unfair when residents of long term care facilities are isolated, sad & acute care patients are fragile and dying without family around. Give the them PPE! #COVIDー19

@DGlaucomflecken My exam for a pt w/ diplopia w/ prev Tolosa Hunt involved me squinting at her eyes, both of us staring at each other while there was a video lag & then I stared at her ceiling while she adjusted her camera. I declare it a success. No ophthalmoplegia.

My telemedicine visits consist of me just squinting at my patient's eye ball and saying "looks good to me" so yeah I know exactly what it's like to be literally any other type of doctor

We live in interesting times thanks to #COVIDー19. Virtual journal club to keep some semblance of normalcy, then virtual office mtg, then virtual #Neurology tele & video clinic. Takeaways once the pandemic is over: virtual services should be ramped up esp for pts in remote areas.

A patient who works as a cashier came in to see me urgently because a customer was spraying his money with bleach and accidentally shot her in the eye, so that’s happening now.
