Why does NeuroVibe Connections exist? We live in a world that prioritizes and creates social norms based on neurotypical ways of communication and relationships. The societal pressure is high in neurodivergent to act “normal”. I’m flipping the script.

As a neurodivergent it is especially important to base all of the relationships you have with people on observed behaviors. NOT what you want that person to be to you, or an idealized fairytale version. There is too much truth in “what you see is what you get”

Especially if you’re neurodivergent you MUST be careful if the way you show you care for someone is small acts of kindness. There are too many people in the world that will use you because of your inability to recognize you’re being used. I’m guilty of this too 🖐🏼

You won’t understand why I’m so open about the differences that make me the person I am until, like me, you’ve sat in front of 50,60,70,80, and 90 year olds who expressed their remorse about not being able to or not having the courage to show their individuality throughout life.

Believe it or not….it is NOT a compliment to say someone doesn’t “look autistic”. Coming from positive intent, I know you meant it as a compliment. But it simply is just not one.

What is it called when you want to to hang out with people but don’t by to be perceived by said people? Like I want to sit in a room and be around y’all but don’t look at me or talk to me 😂

I don’t think there is something more terrifying to an neurodivergent individual than a narcissist. Experienced it myself and heard stories from others. From family members to significant others….stay safe out there and don’t isolate ❤️

It’s a common thing for those who are neurodivergent to be seen as argumentative and “needing to always be right”. Let me clarify… We don’t “need to be right” but if you are discussing a topic and what you are saying is untrue or incorrect we need to have that corrected.
