@BrainAblaze If you are referring to the hard setting glue used for long term monitoring. The removal of this requires specific solvents to loosen. Sometimes the use of olive oil with combing can aid the removal. At the end of the test your EEG tech should be removing all of the glue. 2/2

@BrainAblaze It depends on what you mean by “glue”. If is the paste (10:20 paste usually) which is applied for outpatient EEG then this can be easily washed away with water. Combing through wet hair with conditioner should remove all of the paste. 1/2

I was diagnosed with epilepsy as a young adult. I’ve been seizure-free for several years, but I often think about the journey it has taken to get to this place and many that are at the beginning of that journey now. Today is Purple Day for @epilepsysociety , and I’m wearing my purple ribbon. Epilepsy affects many, but the wider effects are not commonly understood.
