FURTHER CLARIFICATION ON CRAFT-NERF/CHANGE It's likely a big nerf to early crafting. It is likely that some of the power will return through the new currencies and meta-runes added in 0.5 though. There is one more learning to consider though... 1/2

HUGE patch notes addition: "Crafting methods that puts a single guaranteed modifier on an item now adds it as a crafted modifier, items can only have a single crafted modifier on an item." I don't think this applies to abyss, but this puts massive limits on essences right?

@ERZOWasTaken Yeah, I've been thinking about that as well. I'm not certain, maybe there's some deeper sense or strategies that we yet have to discover. Maybe these runes are not replacable by normal means? Forcing you to trade some power against vastly easier crafting

It is likely that applying a new crafted modifier removes the previous one. This could be big. This allows blocking modifiers deterministically in order to replace them with a higher quality slam later on. It's a bit more advanced, but I'm 100% sure it'll find its uses. 2/2

@NeverSinkDev In the best case it hyper limits crafting to basically just one abyssmod and one essence and every other kind of crafting is chaos spam and fracturing orb. But broadly I don't understand why have crafting methods if you limit them to 1 option.

@NeverSinkDev Umm. So what are us SSF enjoyers supposed to do? Kill ourselves? So a weapon can only have one the following guaranteed? - Flat Phys, +Levels, Onslaught/AS. Seems like crafting weapons will become extremely hard. How's a SSF player supposed to keep up with folks just shopping.

To put it bluntly this is a massive nerf/limitation for crafting. While this definitely targets top end crafting - this also makes crafting solid early endgame weapons a lot harder. Maybe there is a meta crafting rune to bypass it.

@Fubgun @Troite3 I don't think abyss counts. I expect abyss to be an 'unveiled' mod, but yes huge nerf otherwise, especially for early game perfect ess weapon crafts

0.5 Patch notes were updated, there was a Massive crafting nerf hidden in them. This will drastically reduce the power of items we can currently create, would've been interesting hear GGG decision for this. PATCH NOTES LEARNINGS #4: Tempest Bell: Can now be Ancestrally Boosted as though it were a Strike skill, and its maximum number of active Bells has been increased to 3. This is seriously cool. My starter struggle of 'martial artist' vs 'gemling' is real.

PATCH NOTES LEARNINGS #5: This ring (and 2 similar versions) are really SPICY: - Easily 120%+ total resistance - ~200%+ resist when minmaxed (7 items + 20% qual + corrupt) - Jewel slot (NOT rune) - Attributes + Rarity This can compete with most rare options, if you can align your other items.

PATCH NOTES LEARNINGS #6: This change is MASSIVE: "The Corruption outcome that randomises the numeric values on an item beyond the normal range now multiplies based on the current value, instead of randoming the value." To get the best corruptions, you now have to risk the best items, but it takes less tries (even with the omen of corruption being removed). This has a lot of branching consequences. You need les scraps, catalysts etc, but the value of bad rolls plumets even further. What do you think?

PATCH NOTES LEARNINGS #3: "Melee Attacks can now only apply Splash Damage once per damaging area.[...]" Weird change. This may be a massive nerf to some abilities. I don't mind this in principle, but melee is not exactly the strongest meta right now. What do you think?
