Hace años leí una frase que se me quedó grabada (creo que a Chuck Akre): una empresa puede pasar mucho tiempo con la cotización dormida y, de repente, sin avisar, concentrar en muy poco tiempo gran parte de la rentabilidad de toda una década. ZAS He visto a gente abandonar empresas excelentes no porque el negocio empeorase, sino porque el precio no se movía. Meses, incluso años, sin acción les parecían una señal de que algo iba mal. Un ejemplo muy claro fue Apple entre 2012 y 2016. El negocio seguía creciendo, generaba una cantidad enorme de caja, recompraba acciones y el ecosistema se hacía cada vez más fuerte. Pero la acción pasó años prácticamente lateral. Durante ese tiempo, muchos se cansaron. Se decía que Apple “ya no innovaba”, que “ya estaba madura”, que “no iba a ninguna parte”. Luego el mercado volvió a mirar al negocio, no al precio, y el movimiento llegó. Para entonces, muchos ya habían salido. A veces el mercado no castiga. Simplemente no entretiene. Y ese aburrimiento suele expulsar justo antes de que pase algo. Paciencia y miren los negocios, no las gráficas.😉 ¿Te ha pasado alguna vez?🤔

The Justice Department has obtained testimony and evidence from dozens of Trump’s former advisors and Vice President Pence showing the danger Trump poses. Now Trump is already doing what despots do— he is trying to conceal the truth and threatening to jail those who investigated him. The congressional report yesterday destroying Loudermilk’s fraudulent allegations shows the despicable malice behind Trump’s efforts. AG Garland now has a duty to release the Justice Department Report and prevent its evidence from being destroyed. The truth must prevail. The framers of our Constitution knew the lessons of history — that people led by men without character can quickly lose their freedom.
