A big thank you to Mr. Orrick for serving as our Watch D.O.G.on Friday. He helped with kindergarten center rotations, supported in Specials, and read to students.

Teamwork makes the dream work. Our 5th graders on Safety Patrol partner with Office Gober to help keep our school safe.

Our school is heart healthy! Kindergarten through fifth graders participated in the healthy heart challenge.

Thank you to Mr. Ahmed who served as our latest Watch D.O.G. He stayed busy reading with students, helping in Specials, and loading and unloading students in the car line.

We are so proud of Morgan O’Leary becoming a Forsyth County Teacher of the Year Finalist! It is so well-deserved. We loved celebrating her on Friday!

We are so proud of Mollie, Emelia, Melissa, Ananya, Seraj, and Rihaan for taking on a student leadership role by joining our first Safety Patrol team! Thank you for leading by example and helping to keep our school safe!

We are so proud of our 5th grade students who participated in our first Oratorical Competition. A big congratulations to our winner, Reva, who will move onto the next round of the competition! Thank you Ms. Pratt, Ms. Franklin, & Ms. Smith for organizing such a great event!

We loved meeting potential Nighthawks at the 2023 Forsyth County Schools Educator Job Fair this weekend! Thank you to all of our staff who volunteered their Saturday to represent New Hope. We love our Nighthawk family!

Last week was our first Kettle Crew meeting! A kettle is a group of nighthawks. We are really proud of these 4th and 5th grade students’ leadership qualities. We can’t wait to see what they accomplish this year!

A big thank you to our January Watch D.O.G.s: Rafael Donates, Carleton Ellsworth, and Tom Fogelsong. Their presence around the school is appreciated and valued. If you are interested and becoming a Watch D.O.G., dates have been added for February and March.
