@AmandaAnnKlein very disappointed that you're not including the interim associate vice provost for institutional advancement in these vetting protocols

Are all these guys writing belated takes on Big Fiction in the world’s most annoying book club together? They all critique Sinykin along the same stupid lines (“wherefore the individual genius?”) and are oblivious to the real issue with the book (“corporate allegory” as paradigm)

Oh, I have an article out. #medievaltwitter #shakerace Race, periodization, Stuart Hall, gatekeeping, racism, Tolkien, Gordon David Houston, Black scholars, Hadrian and Theodore, & early English studies. Also this entire special issue is full of incredible scholars.

.@NewLitHist y'all still haven't corrected my name and I've emailed 50+ ppl the article already (not including how many academics have downloaded it). Who needs to be yelled at for spelling a BIPOC scholar's name wrong in a special issue on R A C E?

@ISASaxonists We are so sorry for this error--we've alerted the publisher about this error on Project Muse. I don't know why they didn't correctly transcribe from the Table of Contents and the proofs we submitted but we are working on it. Again, huge apologies.

@ISASaxonists @lizabethswann Yes, we are absolutely working on it--the proofs we sent in were accurate, as you can see above! But again we're very sorry and have apologized to the author, and we're working on fixing it.
