Top 20 CityBuilding Mistakes #6 Failing to regulate land use in conjunction with the roadways (& public frontage). The typical mistakes are putting urban buildings on a suburban street, or putting suburban buildings on an urban street. Sync everything.

@stevemouzon @hblackson @gdurbanist @CityBuildingEx All 12 steps can be found in one of the 3 steps of placemaking. The 3 steps allow someone to see where an initiative if failing. Insufficient consensus on the vision? Thinking you were done after developing a vision or code? Trying to implement without a vision? Etc...

@stevemouzon @hblackson @gdurbanist @spolikov I mistakenly combined #3 with #2. #2 is failing to provide the context & path for the 3 steps of placemaking. #3 is refusing to do that heavy lifting that is required for crafting a meaningful vision. #4 is failing to identify a model to emulate.
