🍉Summer meals & Summer EBT ensure kids' access to nutritious meals during the summer. 🥗CACFP allows childcare & afterschool providers to be reimbursed for healthy meals & snacks served in their care. Together, these programs ensure that all NYers have access to nutritious food.

🤱WIC provides women, infants, and young children with a food package with fruits, veggies, grains, and protein. 🥦School meals provide children w/ the healthy food they need to thrive in school & improve students' mental and physical health.

March is National Nutrition Month🍎✨ 🍴Families who use SNAP can buy healthy foods at grocery stores, farmers' markets, and online. They can even purchase seeds to grow their own food at home.

We're kicking off #NationalCACFPWeek w/ a spotlight on Jessica's Daycare in Monticello. Owner, educator, and CACFP Ambassador Jessica Dean practices a Farm-to-Early Care approach that allows students to see where their food comes from and get involved in preparation.

✔️What's required? Documentation of at least 80 hours per month of paid work, job training, or community service.

SNAP's ABAWD time limit rule is now in effect throughout NYS. Here's what you need to know: ✔️Who is affected? Adults ages 18-64 who are able to work and do not live with a child under age 14. These individuals can receive SNAP benefits for only 3 months within a 3-year period.
