Fiddle Fest ‘26- an incredible celebration of string music in the Newark community!! Yeehaw!!

NHS Sinfonia at Central OH String Festival Large Group Contest = “Superior” rating! -music from the OMEA “Class A” list -a piece with no conductor -worked hard to catch up after so many snow days!! What a showing by Sinfonia!!!

Solo & Ensemble Day!! We were too busy making music to get many pics, but over 150 orch students stood up in front of a judge and presented their song. They were so brave, and so professional. We are so proud!! Do you have pictures from today’s event? We’d love to see them.

East Central Region Middle School Honors Orchestra! This wknd 16 Newark middle school musicians (from all 3 NCS middle schools) performed in this honors orchestra!! They spent 10 hours in rehearsals and put on an incredible concert We’re so proud of their work!

Liberty Middle School choir and orchestra students are touring at John Clem and Legend elementary schools, and SharonBrooke Assisted Living today, making beautiful music! #we_are_ncs

Wilson Orchestra and Choir had a wonderful time visiting Cherry Valley and McGuffy Elementaries today!! We played holiday tunes and got in a jolly spirit!! 🎶 (Oh yeah, and those same kids performed an AWESOME concert this evening!)

NHS musicians spreading some musical cheer Downtown Newark this afternoon. Thank you to @ExploreLickingCounty for inviting us to play in the incredible Louis Sullivan Building (aka Jewel Box) what a wonderful place to visit, and we loved the acoustics!!

Congratulations to our NHS musicians that performed in OMEA Region Orchestra this weekend! They spent 8 hours in rehearsal all day yesterday and then performed a beautiful concert this afternoon. Well done, Carter, Gwen, Theo, and Gavin!

Sinfonia jammin at the Canal Market Dist Farmers Market this afternoon! We love to play here, and we love to kick off our school year this way! Thank you to all the parents, friends, and teachers who showed up to support our musicians!! We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!
