@Teeniiola The only way to redeem Nigeria is to make education lucrative again, create a comfortable middle class, let teachers, lecturers and civil servants become role models again. These occupations are in majority, they cut across families and they are jobs that encourage gradual growth.

@fkeyamo Black Man mentality when they feed from the table that was denied others. Black Man has a big problem, instead of the few of your enjoying alone, why not fix Nigeria and allow things to function properly so everyone can enjoy along? Why are you guys so heartless? It's all vanity

So, the survival of our democracy is now anchored on the recognition of one faction of one of the 21 registered political parties we have in this country? The same faction, even when recognised, could not win a single Council seat in the just-concluded FCT election? Democracy now means their own logic in the media space MUST be accepted and our judiciary processes ignored? These fellows think they can blackmail everyone to do their bidding AT ALL COST. Unfortunately for them, Nigerians are not so gullible.

I swear, there isn't a single Tinubu supporter who backs him out of genuine, untainted conviction. Not one! It's always driven by tribe, money, regional loyalty, religion, or a bag of rice.

PRESS RELEASE ADC FCT DISTANCES SELF FROM THE CHAIRMEN OPPOSING THE SEN. DAVID MARK'S LED NWC, CALLS FOR CALM AND RESTRAINT. The FCT chapter of ADC writes to dissociate itself from the press release of some state Chairmen opposing the David Mark's led NWC of ADC. While we acknowledge the right of everyone to align and realign during political permutations, it is important to do so within the ambits of the law and respect to the collective interest of Nigerians . The decision of the Chairmen not to recognize the authentic David Mark's led NWC of ADC no matter how well intended, will only further exacerbate the already tensed atmosphere within the party. We, therefore, in the interest of all, call on them to immediately retreat from such pursuit and rather join forces to strengthen the party ahead of the general election. The FCT chapter of ADC stands solidly behind the Senator David Mark's led NWC and calls on others to do same in the interest of peace and collective progress. A house divided against itself, they say, will never stand. We, however, advise that all aggrieved members within the party should instead of resorting to unnecessary court cases that only create cracks for opposition to sneak in and destabilize, explore all the dispute resolution mechanisms available in the party and seek redress. Remember our collective interest far outweighs our individual quests. If ADC succeeds, we all succeed. In the same vein, we are calling on all our leaders to immediately wade in and quell this onslaught before it escalates. Lasting peace and unity is all we pray for to prevail within our party. Let's activate the Spirit of sportsmanship and ensure no one is left behind. Surely, ADC will succeed and unseat this devilish government that has brought our country to ruins. And in the spirit of friendship and togetherness, we extend a warm HANDSHAKE of love to everyone. Nwigbo Chukwudi Samuel Publicity Secretary, ADC FCT

BREAKING: APC crisis deepens as Hafsatu Danladi led faction emerges, lays claim to the party leadership. ...INEC put on notice to derecognise the Nentawe Yilwatda led NWC. In what can be described as an unexpected twist of events, a new faction on Wednesday emerged from the ongoing leadership disputes of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC),Guardien can authoritatively report. The crisis, which commenced a few days ago, took a new dimension on Wednesday after a failed reconciliation meeting conveyed at the instance of the president. According to reports, the Nentawe Yilwatda led faction of the ruling party made an offer of 40 billion naira to the Hafsatu Danladi led faction in order to end the crisis and douse the tension, but the latter vehemently refused, signaling a narrow chances for the ruling party to field a presidential candidate in 2027. Indications are high that baring any last-minute intervention by the powers that be at the villa, INEC may be compelled by the courts to seize recognition of Nentawe Yilwatda faction arising from the flawed March 27 party's national convention in Abuja, pending the determination of the substantive suit. When our correspondent contacted the faction led by Nentawe Yilwatda, he confirmed the ongoing leadership crisis but declined further comment, when we sought his opinion on what we knew regarding some APC governors being behind the plot to remove him. ©️Guardien

My fellow well-meaning Nigerians, What an irony it is. Some elites and governors from the South-East are throwing their weight behind Tinubu ("Tulumbu"), sidelining Peter Obi; a man widely seen as the strongest, most credible candidate the region (and indeed the country) has produced in recent times. A leader with a proven track record of competence, character, and compassion. Someone who ran Anambra with measurable results in education, health, and fiscal prudence, and who has inspired a new wave of thinking across Nigeria. The young people are energized. Many in the North are beginning to see a genuine pathway to a better, more united Nigeria through the ideas and movement Peter Obi represents. His message of frugality, productivity, security, and inclusive governance resonates far beyond any ethnic line. Nigerians desperately need leadership defined by COMPETENCE (the ability to deliver results), CHARACTER (integrity and consistency), and COMPASSION (putting the suffering masses first) to steer this country toward real prosperity, not just rhetoric or recycled politics. From my perspective here in the North, the question many of us are asking is painful but necessary: Why would these leaders prefer Tinubu over Peter Obi? Why align against a son of the South-East who has the clearest chance not only to win but to fundamentally change the trajectory of our nation starting from reducing poverty, tackling insecurity, fixing infrastructure, and restoring hope for millions? It is sad. Deeply sad. This isn't about tribe or region alone. It's about Nigeria's future. Peter Obi's appeal in 2023 showed that when people vote with conviction, for ideas, not just patronage then something powerful happens. The youth, the professionals, the everyday citizens who are tired of business-as-usual are watching. They are not swayed by elite endorsements; they remember governance that actually works. To the well-meaning leaders in the South-East and across Nigeria: History will judge this moment. Personal or short-term political calculations should not stand in the way of what is best for the Igbo people, the North, the South-West, the South-South and for every Nigerian. A leader who can unify, who has the discipline to cut waste, attract investment, and build institutions that outlast any administration. Let us rise above the irony. Let us choose substance over spectacle. Let the conversation be about competence, character, and compassion. the qualities that can finally move Nigeria from potential to prosperity. The young people are ready. A new thinking is spreading. The question is: Will our leaders listen to the heartbeat of the nation, or will they double down on the old ways? Nigeria deserves better. Peter Obi represents one of the clearest shots we have at that "better." Let's not squander it out of short-sightedness. What do you think, my brothers and sisters? The future is in our collective hands not just the elites. Signed, A concerned Nigerian from the North who wants a prosperous, united country for all.

Alongside other leaders of the ADC, I am participating in a peaceful protest against the perceived partisanship of the electoral umpire. This patriotic action is driven by our collective commitment to safeguarding Nigeria’s democracy and ensuring that our electoral process remains credible, fair, and transparent. We must resist any attempt to undermine democratic institutions or pave the way for authoritarian tendencies. Our stance is not just political, it is a duty to protect the integrity of our nation and preserve the will of the people. - AWT
