🚨 BREAKING: Yoane Wissa has unfollowed Brentford, changed his profile picture to black and removed all club photos from his Instagram account as he looks to leave the club. Wissa's move to Newcastle is currently being blocked by Brentford, as exclusively revealed earlier with @alex_crook. The 28-year-old is unhappy Brentford won't now engage over a sale unless a £60m+ valuation is met despite informing Wissa a few weeks ago they would entertain a sale. Wissa was also told a year ago he could leave for £26m (€30m) after committing to last season following Ivan Toney's departure to Al-Ahli. Brentford insist Dango Ouattara is a Bryan Mbeumo replacement and for a Wissa exit to happen, another forward must be added as well as their high valuation met.🐝

Just a reminder that Newcastle planned to resist any attempt to sign Alexander Isak this summer and have stuck to that plan with two weeks of the transfer window remaining. Under huge pressure, they have, as they always maintained they would at ownership level, dug in and resisted. #nufc

🚨 Sunderland are considering making a move for Bologna centre back Jhon Lucumí. 🇨🇴 The Colombia international is on the #SAFC radar and explorative talks have taken place, as per @FabrizioRomano. 🇲🇦 Sunderland also have a long-standing interest in Bilal El Khannouss of Leicester. ❓ #SAFC keen on the attacking midfielder but aren’t actively in talks at this moment. One to watch…

Not saying it’s ideal but the quickest way to get a striker through the door looks like a loan. Both of these lads seem surplus to requirements and could be realistic short-term options. Time will tell if they’re good enough.
