Our Year 4’s have been working really hard this term with @LaticsCommunity to create some amazing dance routines!

What a fantastic morning we have had listening to Kerry McIntosh, author of ‘Rory Green- Secret Agent to the Queen’. Children from Y2 to Y6 loved listening to a reading from her book and then enjoyed asking her questions about life as an author. @orrellnewfold

Great day on the Anderton Boat Lift! We learned lots about rivers and enjoyed the ride down the lift! #NewfoldHumanities

A great day at Chester zoo! We’ve seen lots of animals and discussed how well their enclosures are made to suit their natural habitat.

Forest School again, this week, for Y4M. We are loving making god’s eyes, painting with nature, running freely and swinging amongst the trees! There’s plenty of mud too! #Newfoldhumanities @my_outdoor

Today we were challenged to have ‘zero waste’ in our snacks and lunch as part of STEM week. Lots of children were using reusable tubs and recyclable materials for packaging. These small changes make a huge difference to reduce our waste footprint. ♻️ #NewfoldSTEM @EcoSchools

A huge thank you to Tom for sharing his knowledge of zoos with Year 4 this morning. We have definitely changed some of our opinions after looking into the great conservation work that they do! #NewfoldSTEM
