The Little Fish Theatre Company visited New Directions today to perform 'Cancelled'. The play explored the complexities of teenage relationships, the impact of social media and how to think critically about the world and make positive choices 🎭

Three senior leaders participated in the first session of The Inclusive Leadership Course delivered by @TheDifferenceEd. It was a fantastic day of reflection and sharing practice and ideas around inclusive practice and pedagogy in schools.

Students at Tunmarsh School have collaborated with local artist Matt Ponting to produce a large-scale abstract artwork piece for outside the school. The project was commissioned by Culture within Newham and funded by the Arts Council 🎨

It's a new academic year and that means more Creating Futures courses! Today, a new group of students started their C&G Level 1 Award in Employability (Construction Skills). They are completing a lobby refurb as their construction project 🔨🛠🪚

The Year 11 Record of Achievement (ROA) Graduation Ceremony at Tunmarsh School today was truly AMAZING! We wish you all the very best for the future #Classof2024 🎓🎉🥰🎊🎓

Cohort 13, our last group for this academic year, are making great progress on their Level 1 Award in Motor Vehicle Maintenance, all students are expected to pass the course with flying colours, by the end of term 👏🏽 🚗 🛠

It's not only students who are able to achieve qualifications at the Beckton Skills Centre. This opportunity is also extended to staff. Check out Miss Campbell-Jackson & Mr Prehm who have achieved their Level 1 Certificate in Motor Vehicle Maintenance 🚗🎉

This week we invited Religious Scholars Pastor Bryon & Imam Sajjad to New Directions and Tunmarsh school to support year 11 students to revise for their upcoming GCSE Religious Studies exams 📚 #GoodLuckEveryone

The Ofsted Inspection Report for Tunmarsh School & The Phoenix Provision is official and will shortly be published online. We are extremely proud of the outcome and want to say a huge 'thank you' to everyone involved in making this happen 🎊🎉

Brilliant to see the sustainable drainage planters (SUD’s) at @NewhamPrus today! So many edible plants like rosemary, curry leaf & lemon balm 🍋 exciting to see how much they have flourished & how they are going to be used in food tech & shared with the school community 🌿🪻

Cohort 12 are flying through their Level 1 Award in Motor Vehicle Maintenance. Two students have secured offers to continue studying Mechanics at college this autumn, and are now developing key skills & knowledge prior to starting their courses 🚘

A special acknowledgement is required for Rafael, who has successfully completed the C&G Level 1 Award & Level 1 Certificate in Employability (Construction Skills) in preparation for moving onto post 16, where he will continue to study Construction 🦺🪚🛠🪛🧤

After 10 weeks, our students have all completed their Level 1 Award & Level 1 Certificate in Employability (Construction Skills)... They have all been absolutely amazing throughout! Thank you @BecktonSkillsCentre for this opportunity 🦺🪚🛠

Newham PRUs achieved a clean sweep at the Table Tennis competition this afternoon, taking 1st, 2nd and 3rd place, respectively! Our students also represented us perfectly and displayed all the school values. Congratulations Everyone 🥇🥈🥉🏓
