I heard then that it was caused by a board that would warp from heat, and the heat & cold would warp it back

@VideoGameHstry I had red ring of death in a 360, my friend had it in his 360 Elite. We busted in there as carefully as possible, swapped the disc drives, and then neither had red ring. Neither played games anymore, only booted and played dvds. But we both still got full trade-in at gamestop. W

@tropicalupdate Yep. 2 to 4pm every single day during summer, a black sheet would get pulled across a blue sky. You would hear the rolling thunder about an hour before the storm finally rolled in. It was awesome
