Always Japa with strategy. In 2022, this lady was promised COS(work visa) by her company in the UK 🇬🇧. Two weeks to when her visa wanted to expire, she wasn’t patient and went ahead to submit post study visa which was more than (£1500) then. A week to when her visa was expiring, the company gave her 5 years COS (Work Visa) , she REJECTED it and told them she has done post study visas. COS has just three months validity t ok be used. Fast forward to April 2024, the post study visa was almost expiring and then she told her employer, they replied her that they don’t have COS anymore. In May 2024 , she had to return to Nigeria so that she won’t overstay. She rejected the 5 years work visa then because she said she couldn’t pay another application fees which was not up (£250). She could have been due for Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) next year April. I did consultations with her yesterday and she was disappointed in her decision and regretted it up till today because it has cost her. She said Nigeria is in shambles if she can just Japa to any where. I could sense desperation. Japa with long term benefits and NOT short term benefits.

@Uche_Gloriaa I lost my contract paying job In 2023 as a QA. All the money I saved with my car that I sold was about 30m plus. I lost it all to Cos scam, since then life has not been the same. I just want to secure a better life for my kids and now I can't provide for them as before anymore.
