Three Texas doctors were disciplined after the Texas Medical Board found their patients died after delayed or inappropriate pregnancy care under the state’s abortion ban. Nevaeh Crain, 18, died after being sent home twice and denied timely care for a life-threatening infection. Porsha Ngumezi died after doctors failed to promptly perform a critical procedure during her miscarriage. These were preventable deaths.
