Lian Quan

Jana I was called to the hospital at midnight. I live within hospital compound. I was walking towards maternity watching something on my phone. I was one step away from stepping on a black mamba. One step. Probably intuition. Or superstitiously, God. There was a county ambulance driver who had just brought in a patient, he took a huge stone and hit it. I did a cs, went back to the room, took my toothbrush, then I was outside the building I reside in brushing my teeth. There is a sink we wash clothes on, I was brushing at that place, when I suddenly saw another snake, a medium sized one, don’t know the type, but one that feeds on toads. It was less than a footstep away too. I froze man. One night, two snakes, close to place we live and stay daily. I usually see lots of snakes in Baringo south, especially when walking at night. I don’t kill them, but yesterday’s ones were so close to residential area.
