A woman on TikTokk said: My daughter asked me to do her makeup for her high school dance. I told her yes, she just had to book on the site, and a full face is $200. She got upset and asked why I was charging her when she’s my daughter, and I explained that services aren’t free and she has a job now. The same way she would have to pay anyone else, she has to pay me. Then she asked why I don’t charge my boyfriend’s daughter but my biological daughter gets charged, and I told her it’s because he pays half the bills. I also told her if she wants her makeup done for free, she can tell her dad to start paying child support. Until then, she has to pay what her dad doesn’t. People can say what they want about me as a mother, but I’m doing the right thing and teaching her responsibility. Entitlement won’t get her anywhere.
